Photography
I'm addicted to photography. I love using the camera to capture light in a moment of time. I believe that all things are beautiful — given proper illumination. Nature has a way of painting the world with the brushstrokes of the sun's rays. A photographer merely has to stand ready to catch her marvelous works as they happen. I strive to be in the right place at the right time with the right equipment.
My camera is the Nikon D700. This is paired, primarily, with my 3 favorite lenses: the 50mm/1.8f portrait prime, the 24mm/1.8 wide prime, and 70-200mm/2.8f telephoto zoom. Each of these lenses performs fantastically under low-light conditions, allowing me to shoot without the use of flash.
